Thank you RLR for giving Jamie the opportunity to let others know about the abuse she suffered at boot camp. And thank you Jamie for bravely sharing your story, you touched my heart and I’m sure many others.
These camps and ‘troubled teen’ facilities are a huge problem and hardly anyone knows about them. There are hundreds in the US, they are in all 50 states, and even more globally. They systematically use brainwashing, abuse and torture as a cheap way to control kids and increase profits.
It’s a billion-dollar industry. Big politicians have profited off the suffering of kids, including Mitt Romney, both Bush’s and Rick Santorum. NO JOKE.
Many kids who went to these programs suffer a lifetime of side-effects, including PTSD, panic attacks, flashbacks, night terrors, social phobias and daily suicidal thoughts. There is anywhere from 20k to 100k kids being abused in the US right now, no one knows the exact number because so many facilities are unregulated.
Anyone reading this, please get involved. They are killing our next generation, we must save kids from being tortured and abused.
